changelog v5.0.0
Sensory 5.0.0 — governed context, memory, durable runs and placement
Prepared release: September 12, 2026
Prepared artifact: Sensory-5.0.0-windows-x64.zip
Highlights
- Adds loss-aware context governance with explicit budgets and provenance.
- Adds episodic, semantic and working memory with session isolation.
- Adds transactional embedding-space migration and calibrated multi-lane fusion.
- Adds durable runs with committed journals, reconnect cursors, crash recovery, SSE streaming and atomic compaction.
- Completes placement P-01 through P-12:
.cplace, inventory, resource estimation/calibration, preflight, planning, shared immutable base weights, residency, admission, transfers, snapshot binding and CLI tooling.
Validation
The final Release build and the unpacked ZIP pass the canonical orchestration, memory, durable, placement, transformer GPU and DPSH GPU gates. Counts are 13/13, 3/3, 4/4, 14/14, 15/15 and 38/38 respectively, with no failed or blocked group in those gates.
Compatibility and limits
Runtime 1–3 and Cognia 4 artifacts remain supported. Learned routing E-06 stays experimental. Learned retrieval quality remains checkpoint- and dataset-bound; the infrastructure gate is not a claim about a particular model's semantic quality. The release host has one GPU, so a real CUDA peer copy between two GPUs is not claimed even though the P-10 planner, staging path, fences, parity and copy accounting are tested. Placement does not add tensor parallelism or silent post-OOM migration.
