Sensory 6.1.0 adds the native Windows Cognia Desktop client, the generic cognia_monitor.exe launcher and source-free Example 22. It retains the read-only orchestration monitoring plane, bounded telemetry and validated runtime, placement and durable-state facilities from versions 1–6.

SHA-256 is published from dist/SHA256SUMS.txt after the canonical package is built.

System requirements

• 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11;
• an NVIDIA GPU compatible with the included Compute Capability 7.5 build;
• a current NVIDIA driver supporting CUDA 13.2;
• a camera or microphone only when using those sensory inputs.

The ZIP is a ready-to-run distribution. Visual Studio, CMake, OpenCV and the CUDA Toolkit are not required for normal use. The included binaries already contain the runtime dependencies needed by the package, except for the NVIDIA display driver.

• cognia_validate_orchestration.exe — Cognia 4 release gate;
• cognia_validate_memory.exe, cognia_validate_durable.exe and cognia_validate_placement_gpu.exe — Cognia 5 release gates;
• cognia_monitoring_serve.exe — Cognia 6 telemetry and command service with the bundled browser dashboard;
• cognia_monitor.exe — declarative system launcher for the monitoring GUI;
• cognia_desktop.exe — native Windows WebView2 monitoring client;
• cognia_validate_monitoring.exe — aggregate Cognia 6 release gate;
• the canonical Cognia grammar;
• runnable models, generators, experiment notes and smoke tests;
• only tiny datasets explicitly required by classic demos and regression tests;
• installation, uninstallation, privacy and license documents.

Install or run portably

Extract the archive into a new directory. You can run it without installation from the bin directory, or install it for the current Windows user:

powershell.exe -NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\install.ps1

Read the complete changelog before opening a saved network with a different runtime version. Runtime 1 checkpoints remain dimension- and version-sensitive and are not complete execution snapshots.

License and status

Cognia and Sensory are experimental research software. They are not safety-critical software and do not claim machine consciousness or general intelligence.

Noncommercial use is governed by the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0 included in the archive. Commercial use requires a separate license. Third-party notices and privacy information are included in every package.
